Who Will Be Speaking?

• Benjamin Docquir’s key practice areas are computer and ICT law, including data protection law. He has specific experience in the field of software licensing, including open source software, protection of computer programs and databases. He also has a strong general practice of intellectual property law (copyright, trade marks and domain names, patents and unfair competition).
• David Ryckaert has a broad experience in venture capital, having advised leading Belgian ICT companies from start-up through exit. He has advised on the set up of two venture capital funds. He further has extensive experience with industrial and private equity transactions, having advised sellers, (institutional) buyers as well as management teams.
• Ramon Suarez, Director Founder Institute Brussels - Ramon is the founder and managing partner at BetaGroup Coworking Brussels, organizer at Startup Weekend Brussels, and a new media marketer and entrepreneur passionate about internet and mobile communications.
